Clint Eastwood, Sergio Leone y Ennio Morricone. Tres pilares reminiscentes de puro western. En esta entrega, Eastwood interpreta a su tradicional personaje, frío, astuto, sin complejos y con unos principios dudosos. El guion está repleto de giros y de una acción particular, con una construcción precisa y extraordinaria. En ocasiones, se producen ciertas dudas si quien dirige es Leone o el propio Morricone con su espectacular batuta y composición. Por un Puñado de Dólares es historia del salvaje oeste.
