Second film in a three part series. After building a house on the hill for war orphans, Shu¯hei goes to Tokyo to find his missing brother, Shu¯kichi. Although he cannot find him, Shu¯hei meets many war orphans who are being forced to work as pickpockets for gangsters and is determined to save them from their plight. Meanwhile, Shu¯kichi, who was enduring hunger as he waited for his older brother, is helped by an old woman and is able to return home. [+]
