Set on the Middle Ages, the main character is Lidio, a conqueror that tries to conquer the beautiful Fulvia, whom they call "The Calandria", since she's old Calandrio's young wife. To reach his goal, Lidio steps into his victim's house dressed as a woman, replacing Aurora, naive Fulvia's instructor on the arts of love... Many will be fooled, but Lidio will be punished, humiliated.
