Catherine travels to Recife, Brazil, to visit her sister Aude, shortly after the death of their father. Catherine meets Gil, a young man who lives on the street. Through this encounter, in an environment that is foreign to her, Catherine recovers a taste for forgotten sensations, and finds the possibility of self-invention.
