Animation. Drama. Fantasy 'The dream of the Sultana' is an Indian feminist story written in 1905 by Begum Rokeya Hussein. Inés is a 30 year old Spanish animation director who is in Ahmedabad to break with her Indian lover of her. She casually she enters a bookstore where she discovers this novel in which she tells himself on an imaginary country governed by women. Fascinated by the history and transgressive attitude of the author, Inés decides to make a film.
