- Synopsis
- Michael Paul Stephenson, director of Best Worst Movie, wasn’t more than a child when he appeared in Troll 2. Like him, George Hardy, a dentist from Alabama, didn’t attach much importance to his participation in this low budget horror film. Years went by and these occasional actors realized they had been part of a movie considered one of the worst in history. Best Worst Movie uses Troll 2 as an excuse to caustically delve into the ins and outs of fame, even though it’s thanks to a terrible flick. Freaks, fans and dentists with gigs worthy of movie stars all come together in this documentary-style Ed Wood.
