Synopsis

Billy Chapel is a 40-year-old veteran baseball star who has played for the Detroit Tigers his entire life. One day the club announces plans to trade him to another team. To make matters worse, his wife, Jane Aubrey, tells him she is leaving him and going to work in London. While pitching that night, Billy must decide whether to accept the trade or give up the game he loves, while remembering how he met Jane, their first date and the happy times with her.
