- Synopsis
- The film depicts the life of Diogo Alves, a Spaniard who came to live in Lisbon and that between 1836 and 1839, has perpetrated several heinous crimes, many of them instigated by his companion.
This is the second fiction film of Portuguese cinema and the second of two films about Portuguese mass murderer Diogo Alves made in the space of a couple of years. This one was written by the two directors of the first film.
