Synopsis

The story is set in 1980 at a Soviet pioneer camp “Burevestnik”. While Moscow is being rocked by The Olympics, life in the summer camp is at all serenity - fun and games with kids lining up for the morning assemblies, telling scary campfire stories, playing football at night and falling in love for the first time... But calm days go bust when one evening Valerka, one of the pioneers, discovers that his roommate is drinking another boy’s blood... It turns out that the camp is full of vampires and they are hiding in plain sight among the pioneers posing as the most dutiful and obedient kids. Two teenagers set up on a mission to rid the camp of this evil—Valerka and his camp counselor Igor who is determined to save his beloved from the vampires... based on the eponymous novel by Alexei Ivanov.
