Synopsis
Choi Hyeon, a professor in Northeast Asian Studies at Peking University in Beijing, returns to his homeland Korea to attend his friend’s funeral. There he encounters an old friend and, while sharing some drinks and memories, Choi suddenly remembers an erotic painting they saw in a café during their trip to Gyeongju some seven years ago. The next day, Choi takes an impulsive trip to the historical city to see the painting again. He searches the café only to find out that the painting is no longer there. But he gets to know the new owner, Yun-hui, a beautiful and mysterious woman. Choi spends the next 24 hours wandering around the city, tracking back his memories and experiencing a series of unexpected, yet enjoyable experiences.
