Synopsis: During the Tokugawa period in the old Edo (present Tokyo), the inhabitants usually rent different objects such as pots, blankets and clothes from stores due to the regularity of the fires and floods in the area, which would cause them to be lost again and again. . Obeni and Seiji are two brothers who have a rental shop called Izumoya, where there are not only objects to rent but also tsukumogami (objects that have become spirits after centuries of existence), which also tend to be rented on special occasions.
