Synopsis
1942 - 1943: 250 Swiss doctors, nurses and caregivers become witnesses to the horror on the Eastern Front during World War II. They had volunteered to participate in Red Cross humanitarian missions. However, as a result of a secret agreement between Switzerland and the Third Reich, they were actually under the control of the German Wehrmacht. Upon their return, most of them submitted a devastating report to the Swiss government. However, the Swiss government remained deaf and mute, as did the Red Cross, which even forced witnesses to deny their testimony.
