- Synopsis
- The drummer and the dancer, a college couple, were planning to perform a fusion of modern dance and traditional korean music. While the two were practicing for the show, the dancer feels pain for every beat on the drum. The show is withdrawn as she ends up fainting during the rehearsal. The drummer accepts her choice as he loves her. However, the drummer hear the sounds of drum wherever he goes. While dating, during a meal, even when he sleeps. It seems as if the drum in the practicing hall is calling him. In compassion, the dancer decides to resume the practice. The dancer faints during the practice session again. The drummer doesn’t recognise it as if he was being possessed. The dancer pressures the drummer to make a choice between her and the drum. The drummer chooses the drum, and the dancer, frustrated, leaves him. Heartbroken, the drummer throws his stick away in the heath. He goes back to the dancer to apologise, only to see her in the hands of a different man. In despair, he picks his sticks up again. Late at night, the sound of the drum fills the practicing hall. What makes him to keep beating the drum... again?
