- Synopsis
- There is a family called Matsumura in Tsuchiura, Ibaraki Prefecture. The family hosts flight cadets every weekend. Students spend time discussing the life of a pilot and go through a rigorous program. The children of the Matsumura family listen in and one of them becomes a pilot himself. He will go to war as a pilot and kamikaze something which made the movie itself popular with actual and aspiring Japanese World War II pilots. The film was co-financed by the Imperial Japanese Navy.
