Synopsis
The documentary begins with the conversations between the then president of the Socialist Party of the Basque Country, Jesús Eguiguren, and the leader of Batasuna, Arnaldo Otegi, in a farmhouse in Elgoibar (Gipuzkoa), which took place from 2000 to 2004. The meetings between ETA leader Josu Ternera and Eguiguren in Switzerland and the different phases -favorable and negative- that alternated in those conversations, with more trips to Switzerland and Norway, are told, while the conversations with the nationalist left are narrated, in many occasions with the participation of the PNV of Josu Jon Imaz and Íñigo Urkullu. And how the arrival in ETA of a new military leadership with Francisco Javier López Peña, "Thierry" at the head, representative of the hardest wing of the organization, is about to disrupt everything that had been advanced until then.
