Synopsis

Inspired by true events, this psychological thriller follows Christelle "Chris" Blandin, a Parisian obsessed with rock music who, after witnessing the heartbreaking terrorist attacks of November 13, 2015, quickly joins a community of survivors. Claiming that his best friend Vincent was one of the dozens seriously injured at the Bataclan Theater, Chris becomes an indispensable resource for the group, working his way up to a prominent role in a survivors' association. Although his commitment seems unrelenting, discrepancies begin to pepper his story, raising serious doubts among the real victims of the tragedy. The Confidant, a thought-provoking four-part miniseries, questions the very nature of truth...and the web of lies left behind by one woman.
