Synopsis

Halle Berry stars in this biopic of the trailblazing African-American actress Dorothy Dandridge. Despite her talent, which prompted her nomination for a Best Actress Academy Award--the first for an African-American woman--Dandridge's life was a constant struggle against the racism and sexism of the 1950s.
