- Synopsis
- Good kids, small-town fun, and unconditional love for a struggling friend. When a member of the ButterCream Gang gives in to peer pressure, his friends learn the true meaning of unconditional love and kindness. Members of the ButterCream Gang share fun, service and friendship with the small town of Elk Ridge. The gang is separated temporarily when Pete moves to Chicago for the school year and falls under the influence of a local gang. When he returns to Elk Ridge unexpectedly, his friends notice he has changed. Pete vents his anger and frustration by forming another Elk Ridge gang to pick on the ButterCreamers and make Scott's life miserable. As Pete struggles with his conscience, old friendships are challenged and the boys help him find self-worth and the kindness in his heart.
