- Synopsis
- Due to the triumph of the Revolution, Carola (Marisol), the young and beautiful heiress to the throne, leaves her country to save her life and begins her exile in Barcelona. Constantly watched by her faithful servants, threatened by assassination attempts and subjected to the demands of her position, the queen becomes desperately bored. One day, unable to bear her confinement any longer, she runs away from home. She discovers the pleasure of freedom and, for the first time in many years, she feels happy. In addition, she meets Daniel (Tony Isbert), a young Spaniard who works in a nightclub. Lacking sufficient financial resources, Carola decides to lead a double life, working nights as a singer and dancer.
