Synopsis
Documentary tribute to Jacques Lecoq, great master of French theater, who died in January 1999 and whose ideas and teachings made him one of the most influential theatrical figures of recent times. The documentary shows Lecoq working with students at his theater school in Paris and includes interviews with many former students. Produced a few weeks before his death, the film is marked by his reflections on the principles that underpin more than forty years of teaching and research, to give his students, from all over the world, the greatest freedom in their creation. Teacher of teachers, his disciples approach this pedagogy in their creative journey.
