- Synopsis
- The newly-wedded Count Georg Wolkersheim is sent to the Congress of Vienna to represent the interests of his small country, Reuss-Schleiz-Greiz. A man of austere habits, he quarrels with his wife, a Vienna-native who loves music and dance. But as the Viennese famously always combine work and pleasure, Wolkersheim has to learn to dance the waltz first, and he's helped by an actress from the theatre, who is soon mistaken by everyone for his wife.
