- Don José Villalba, a former combatant of the Chaco War (1932-1935) and a terminally ill man, is visited by Marlene, the granddaughter of a former comrade. Together they embark on a journey full of memories to find the whereabouts of Marlene's grandfather, who was comrade of Villalba in the historic war.
