Synopsis
A documentary on the values and the historic impact of Karol Jozef Wojtyla who is known to most of the world as Pope John Paul II. The Catholic Church was in crisis when he became Pope in 1978. Pope John Paul restored great stability and power to the church. The native Pole would become a beloved figure the world over, but his legacy is mixed due to a declining number of Catholics in industrialized nations. This documentary includes a rare interview with the pontiff in the English language.
