Synopsis: Examining life at life's end is the poignant subtext of 'Next Year in Jerusalem,' a poetic journey at once metaphorical and literal. Eight nursing home residents are given one last great adventure, a trip to Israel. The film documents the intricate planning through the journey itself: a physical and emotional challenge and ultimately, a transformational life experience.
