- Synopsis
- Carlos (Arturo Fernández), a widower in his forties, lives with his daughter Lolita (Amparo Muñoz) and his sister Merche (Laly Soldevila). He is an economist and a candidate for the family's third party in the Spanish Parliament, so he spends time out of town. One day, upon returning from his election campaign, his sister informs him that Lolita has run away from home, perhaps influenced by her friendships and some modern readings. Soon the father finds out that she has gone to live with some friends. To try to get her back home, Carlos gets involved in the youthful world of his daughter and her friends, including Ana (Pauline Challoner) and 'Nicolai' (Paco Algora), a young film buff with a bohemian air, who is Lolita's secret boyfriend.
