- Synopsis
- For the very first time the story about the people that built the royal Swedish warship Vasa is told. The first episode is a docu-drama, where the latest digital technology has reconstructed Stockholm in 1628. The 15th century was a time of war in Europe, and Stockholm was a small and dangerous capital. In the second episode the salvation of Vasa in 1961 is shown. From the clayey bottom of the water just outside of the city center, a piece of untouched 15th century was attended. Apart from remnants of dead men also tools, household utensils and clothes were found.
