- Synopsis
- Jim owns and operates the best garage in town, despite he needing a little prodding to get his assistant to do the work. Jim's sweetheart, the postmistress, isn't sure if Jim is *the* man for her. It isn't until a couple of incidents occur, including Jim coming into a $10,000 windfall, that she agrees to marry him. But that $10,000 windfall could be long gone with the arrival onto the scene of Kid Ryan, a boxer with the strength of an ox and who is Jim's assistant's ex-cell mate. Kid Ryan and the assistant hatch a scheme to swindle Jim out of that money by the assistant convincing him that Kid Ryan is a fake, and that he should enter into a boxing match with the Kid, betting that $10,000 on himself to win. The training, the boxing match and what happens to the $10,000 all lead to exciting times for Jim.
