- Synopsis
- In Gambia, the smallest country in continental Africa, the population’s main source of protein, fish, is becoming scarce. Illegal Chinese corporations have begun to powder the fish and export it to Europe to feed animals on industrial farms. As a result, the country’s traditional fishing sector and food security are under threat. Three characters, Abou, Mariama and Paul, share their poignant, personal stories of daily struggles, longing and migration.
