Erin Brockovich (Roberts) is a twice-divorced mother of three young children, who struggles to be taken seriously. While working as a file clerk in a small law firm, she stumbles upon a cover-up involving contaminated water in a nearby town which is causing devastating illnesses. She convinces her boss (Finney) to allow her to investigate, and in the process uncovers the company causing the contamination.

Erin Brockovich es una de esas películas que te hace emocionarte, sentir amor y odio a partes iguales, querer luchar y ser mejor persona. Es conmovedora, muy real, y sin duda es una de las mejores películas que Julia Roberts ha hecho en su larga carrera cinematográfica.
Si ya la has visto y te gustan este tipo de películas, te recomiendo que veas Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise) y 28 Días (Sandra Bullock)
