Esta magnífica película es una vuelta de tuerca en el ya clásico drama del amor desinteresado, compulsivo e irrefrenable de una mujer por un hombre mujeriego, insensible y díscolo. Leyendo las críticas se repite mucho el epíteto "egocéntrico", dedicado a él , naturalmente.
