Drama Amistad is the name of a slave ship traveling from Cuba to the U.S. in 1839. It is carrying a cargo of Africans who have been sold into slavery in Cuba, taken on board, and chained in the cargo hold of the ship. Los actores son muy buenos, tanto el líder de los esclavos, que está genial, a pesar de que en toda la pelicula habla en su idioma africano,como McConaughey y Hopkins. La ambientación es espectacular, la fotografía soberbia, de Kamynski, la historia muy bien contada, las escenas del barco son escalofriantes, nada sensacionalistas, sobriamente contado, escenas muy emotivas y nada sensibleras, un holocausto, tal como dice Spike Lee, la independencia del poder judicial, pues de plena actualidad, el embajador de España, muy creíble. Un 8 sin problemas.
