Drama
Margo Channing (Bette Davis), leading dame of the New York stage, is pushed aside by a fresh-faced fan who becomes her understudy, the duplicitous Eve (Anne Baxter). Excelente guión, actuaciones soberbias. Una historia digna para ver una y otra vez. Realmente un conocimiento exacto de la condición humana; hasta dónde puede llegar una persona por lograr el "tan deseado lauro". Bette Davis mostrando la realidad de un papel acorde a su "edad" y su éxito. George Sanders magistral; un personaje inteligente y seductor.
