Esta película ítalo-británica está basada en el cuento "Las Babas del Diablo" del argentino Cortázar sobre el relato del fotógrafo chileno Sergio Larraín quien que al revelar una fotografía callejera aparece en segundo plano una pareja haciendo el amor.(Revista Contrastas Nº 11 abril mayo 2015, pag. 16). En resumen, una creación artística sobre una anécdota de un fotógrafo profesional.
