Con esta peli de Minghella, rodada en Italia, nos encontramos ante un argumento que va creciendo y va enganchando hasta que va perdiendo credibilidad e intensidad.
En definitiva entretiene y está bastante pasable, aunque a mí el final no me gustó mucho, quizás demasiado abierto. En cuanto a las actuaciones destacar a los secundarios: Cate Blanchett y Jude Law.
