Interesante documental del canal Historia estructurado en dos partes: "El ascenso" y "La caída", divididas cada una de ellas en dos episodios de 45 min. cada uno.
Los documentalistas han tirado de archivo y nos muestran algunas secuencias inéditas tanto de la vida civil como del frente. La voz en off narra valiosos testimonios, en ocasiones espeluznantes.
