El guión es una buena adaptación de una novela y la historia se sigue de forma natural. Mel Gibson y el niño llevan todo el peso de la película y son lo mejor de ella. El duro de Mel Gibson sabe sacar de la historia lo de humanidad que existe en los personajes. Quizas se guardan demasiados secretos para el final pero funciona para el efecto dramático. Vale la pena verla.
