Comedy. Drama Gambler Stewart Granger becomes guardian to homeless woman Jean Simmons and tells her he's a stockbroker and she's the daughter of one of his friends. While Granger lavishes Simmons with gifts, gowns and a glitzy lifestyle, his jealous brother becomes enamored of her.
