La Primera Guerra Mundial sirve en este caso como un fondo sobre el que se crea una ingeniosa historia de amistad, valor, viajes en el tiempo, y cambios en el devenir de los acontecimientos. Los actores, poco conocidos, cumplen perfectamente con sus papeles. A partir de los viajes temporales, tema recurrente en la primera temporada de esta serie de TV, se perfila un nuevo cuento moral.
