Nunca he estado en Roma, pero ahora sé que es decepcionante.
Me la imagino como un truco de magia donde nada es real. Bla, bla, bla. Donde toda su desesperación, su lujo y su indolencia se esconden como en personajes y escenas de un pasaje de Macbeth:
“Life is but a walking shadow,
a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage.
And then is heard no more.
It is a tale told by an idiot,
full of sound and fury,
signifying nothing.”
Yo, como Gambardella, sólo quiero llegar a casa para ponerme la cena, un vino y encender la televisión antes de irme a la cama.
O sea, no quiero nada.
