La vida en un fuerte situado en el quinto infierno. ¿Para eso necesitaba tanto tiempo el hombre que ya había dirigido "La diligencia", "Las uvas de la ira" y "El delator"? Y lo peor no es que me sobren muchos minutos, sino que tan pronto estoy algo interesada como me aburro. Shirley Temple y John Agar tampoco ayudan.
La apruebo porque Henry Fonda y John Wayne siempre me gustan, y porque John Ford es John Ford y no sabía hacer una mala película.
