Dicen que la mujer actúa desde los sentimientos y el hombre desde las ideas. Sorprende la naturalidad con que sigue la protagonista sus impulsos en la primera parte del film; posteriormente el inevitable conflicto entre lo masculino y lo femenino viene aderezado por el shock entre culturas tan distantes.
