Dura, intensa, conmovedora. Patéticos personajes, insoportable vida (complicada de digerir por un espectador sensible). Escenas desgarradoras y amargas, sin concesiones al optimismo o a la esperanza. Y sin embargo, hay secuencias que derrochan vitalidad, como si se exaltase el desprecio de la vida "normal".
La historia de amor de estos dos seres destrozados por la autodestrucción y la renuncia está brillantemente narrada, con secuencias verdaderamente magistrales, un estupendo guión (se habla lo imprescindible), y un ritmo asombroso, al hilo de una banda sonora y un montaje espectaculares. Original, emocionante, iconoclasta y brillante.
