Metropolis no solo es espectacular estéticamente, sino que también esta acompañada de un guión con contenido y muy actual, ya que no pasa el tiempo para ella. Tanto por imitación como por inspiración Metropolis es la madre de la ciencia ficción, no hay película de este genero que no nos recuerde de alguna manera a ella.
