Joseph Tura and his wife Maria top the bill at a Warsaw theatre company. Young aviator Lieutenant Sobinski is madly in love with the girl and the two arrange to meet in her dressing room during the play they are putting on (Hamlet). Una magnífica parodia del nazismo y sus dirigentes que en más de una ocasión provoca la carcajada. Es un brillante ejercicio crítico de la ocupación nazi de Polonia a través de la comedia, el mejor conducto para desmontar lo absurdo. Jack Benny es el alma de la función con dos papeles estelares. Es curioso ver a un Robert Stack jovencísimo.
