Famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) struggles to find harmony in his professional and personal lives, as he engages in dramatic relationships with his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penélope Cruz), his muse (Nicole Kidman) and his mother (Sophia Loren). Cada día me gusta más Penélope... Fergie en su línea, y, el protagonista masculino, indudablemente será tan excéntrico como su personaje. Melancólica y triste en algunos momentos con grandes números musicales y una Nicole Kidman de la que se espera el retorno de su glam en Moulin Rouge.
