Drama My Name Is Joe is a 1998 Scottish film directed by Ken Loach. The film stars Peter Mullan as Joe Kavanagh, an unemployed recovering alcoholic in Glasgow who meets and falls in love with a health visitor. David McKay plays his troubled friend Liam. El enésimo arrebato por diseccionar el cine social del gran director Ken Loach se convierte en todo un descomunal ejercicio de realismo dramático.

Desbordante, donde una inmensa interpretación de Peter Mullan hacen de esta película una de las grandes.

Y de nuevo, Loach lo ha vuelto a lograr.
