Drama. Romance
In present-day U.S., Dr. Michael Parker, a prominent surgeon, unexpectedly runs into his German-born wife whom he thought was dead. Victor, an artist and his "dead" wife's now boyfriend, berates Dr. Parker for "killing" her. The bulk of the story flashes back to Austria during World War II as we learn how Dr. Parker met and married his wife, and the one mistake that may have cost him his family.

Bonito melodrama.
Posee todos aquellos elementos que a mi me gustan: amor, pasión, situaciones difíciles, reencuentros...
No es que se trate de un magnífico filme, pero entretiene y gusta.
Las interpretaciones son buenas, la fotografía estupenda, y la banda sonora de calidad.
George Sanders, como siempre, estupendo.
Se trata de un filme menor, pero dentro de su modestia resulta muy agradable.
Sólamente un pero, el final es un poco ñoño, pero acorde con la historia.
