Documentary Elvira de Hidalgo is known for being María Callas’ teacher and pygmalion, but hardly recognized for her extraordinary singing skills (coloratura soprano) and her successful staging in the operatic setting. She, who traveled all over the world and always performed the song ‘From Spain I come…’ in her repertoire, has been, on the other hand, forgotten by her country.
