Musical Gwen Stefani performs with Akon in the music video "The Sweet Escape" from the album "The Sweet Escape" recorded for Interscope Records. The music video begins with Gwen Stefani escaping from a golden jail. After getting the key from a dog, she appears in a penthouse where she releases her long braids of hair allowing the Harajuku Girls to scale the building. Later, they meet Akon in a parking lot.
