Synopsis

It tells the story of Bruno (Jérémie Rénier) and Marilyne (Julie Depardieu), a young couple with two children. This family leaves their native region, northern France, to realize Marilyne's dream: to live in a chalet in the mountains. A real estate agent and developer, Patrick (Lucien Jean-Baptiste), rents them a chalet from a distance. When they arrive on site, the house is still under construction; Patrick settles them temporarily in another chalet, much more luxurious than planned. Very friendly, if a bit of a swindler, Patrick willingly offers champagne and likes to show off his 4x4, his beautiful villa, and his wife Gladys (Alexandra Lamy), the perfect mother of three children. Then, feelings of greed and frustration are born in Bruno and Marilyne that will lead them to the worst.
